What are event keys?

Event keys offer a quick and easy path to join your event, especially for in-person events. Every event you create will have an event key associated with it.

An event key is a unique 3 to 36 character code containing only letters and numbers. It is used to give attendees access to your event. Attendees can visit buzzit.ca and type in your event key to join.

When you create your first event you will be prompted to create an event key. This one key can be used for many different events.

Tips:

  • Make your key short and easy to remember
  • Avoid trademarked names (Learn more)
