Requirements:

Tip: If it's your first time, create a test live stream to work through as you follow along so you can test going live.

1. Go to your Zoom web portal in a browser window (sign in at www.zoom.com), and click Schedule a Meeting.

2. Set up your meeting and click Save.

  • To keep organized, make the meeting ‘Topic’ the same as your event title

  • Also, set the start time to the same as your live stream start time

3. Scroll to the bottom to find the Live Streaming section and click on Configure Custom Streaming Service.

In order to stream using any custom streaming service, you will need the following information: Stream URL, Stream key and Live streaming page URL. Copy and paste these three things in the configure Custom Streaming Service Zoom window and press Save.

4. Go to the Live Streaming section at the bottom of the Zoom manage meeting page to see your stream details. You can Edit or Delete your live stream configurations here.

5. In order to add your stream to BuzzIt, you will need the embed link for your livestream. Learn how to find your embed link here.

Once you have your embed link, go to your BuzzIt event Home page and click the blue floating action button in the bottom right-hand corner.

6. Click on LIVESTREAM CONFIG

7. Click on the URL setting.

8. Enter the embed URL or embed code in the top text box. Then click CONFIRM CHANGES to save your changes to the livestream source.
