How to find the provided embed code for your livestream platform

In order to connect your livestream to BuzzIt, you will need the embed code.

1. YouTube
2. Twitch
3. Vimeo
4. Facebook
5. DailyMotion
6. BrightCove
7. Dacast
8. IBM Video (Ustream)

YouTube 

1. Go to your livestream video page and click the SHARE button under the video.

2. Click on the Embed icon. In the new window, click COPY in the bottom right-hand corner.

Twitch

1. Go to the Twitch livestream page. Click on the Share button (below the video on the right).

Vimeo

If this is your Vimeo livestream: 

2. In the dropdown menu, click Copy event embed code. It is now copied and ready to paste.

For any Vimeo live video:

1. Go to the livestream video page. In the top right-hand corner of the video click the Share icon.

2. Copy all the text in the box under Embed.

Facebook

1. Go to the Facebook Live video page and on the top left-hand corner, click the icon with three dots beside the video title.

2. In the dropdown menu, click Embed.

3. In the Embed Video window, click Copy Code.

DailyMotion

1. Go to the DailyMotion video page. Click the share icon below the video details.

3. Copy all the text in the box (highlighted in red).

BrightCove

For BrightCove videos:

1. From the top HOME menu, go to Players. Click on the name of the player you want to embed.

2. On the player page, click Publish & Embed from the top right-hand corner.

3. Copy the Player URL.

For BrightCove live events:

Generating the embed code for a live event

Dacast 

1. From the menu on the left, click Live Streams then click on the live stream you want to embed.

2. On the live stream page, under Sharing, click the copy icon under Share Link.

IBM Video (Ustream) 

If this is your live event video:

1. Go to your IBM Video Streaming account. In the menu on the left, click Channel. Then in the dropdown, click Embedding.

2. Under Embed codes, you want to embed a Player. Click Create embed beside Player.

3. In the new page that opens, go to the bottom left-hand corner and click on Copy to clipboard.

For any IBM video:

1. Go to the IBM/Ustream video page. Click the share icon in the top right-hand corner of the video.

2. In the dropdown menu, click on Embed

3. Click on Copy embed code

Other 

If you are using any other streaming platform, you will need to find the iframe embed code for your livestream.
